Kaishun WU, Associate Vice President (Research) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), and a joint Professor in the Artificial Intelligence Thrust, Data Science and Analytics Thrust and the Internet of Things Thrust of the Information Hub, is an IEEE/IET/AAIA Fellow. He is the Director of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Integrated Communication, Sensing and Computation for Ubiquitous Internet of Things, the Director of the Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center of Intelligent Bioinformation Perception and Computing, the leader of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Research Team and the Guangdong Provincial Innovation Team, a member of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, and the Deputy Chairman of the Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology. He has published over 400 papers in top-tier journals and conferences, including TMC, TON, TPAMI, TKDE, UbiComp, MobiCom, MobiSys, SenSys, ICDE, CVPR, KDD, NeurIPS, and ACL. In recognition of his contributions to ubiquitous computing, he has been named among the world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford/Elsevier for career-long scientific impact and has received numerous domestic and international awards.

The research group is actively seeking highly motivated PhD, Red Bird MPhil, RA, and PostDoc with strong backgrounds in computer science, data science, electronic engineering, or related fields. Solid programming skills are required. The group offers sufficient funding, abundant computing resources, and close collaborations with industry.
